The 27th edition of the National Open Competition “Modernization of the Year & Construction of the 21st Century” has come to an end on September 27, at the Royal Castle in Warsaw.  the Gala Announcing the Results and Presenting the Awards took place.

The aim of the activities is to promote and select each year the best construction projects, which are distinguished by their special qualities. The Competition is open to projects that have set themselves the goal of saving the heritage buildings of past generations. These include buildings of various types – residential, hotel, industrial, sports and historic, but also bridges, roads or entire areas undergoing revitalization and new buildings.

In the 27th edition of the Competition, more than 533 investments from all over Poland took part, 91 qualified for the finals, with investments representing most of Poland’s regions in the final lead. Every year the competition brings something new, responding to the needs of the participants. Among other things, the Competition Commission awards the quality of materials used, modernity, ecological results, efficiency of technological processes.
